About us

Aspire Planning & Design was formed in February 2008 to provide a professional cost effective service to all sections of the property industry. Our aim is to provide this service to all clients, whether a householder who wishes to extend their house or a large developer wishing to extend a town.

Whilst located in Bristol, in the South West of England, we provide a comprehensive service for all aspects of residential and commercial building throughout the UK. We have a commitment to good design and environmental awareness and offer solutions tailored to the requirements and budget of the individual client – furthermore our advice is honest and transparent.

Remember - presenting a proposal in a professional and appropriate manner, with good supporting documentation, could mean the difference between success and failure for your application or appeal.

We would be delighted to discuss your proposal further.

Our fees

Our fees are flexible and dependant on the proposal – we are able to offer a fixed price service, an hourly rate or in certain circumstances (for retained clients only) a reduced rate fee structure with an uplift on planning consent.

For new clients only from 01 April 2010, a small charge will apply for an initial site survey. We offer a professional service and wish to keep our costs down for our regular clients – this initial charge will be deducted from your first invoice upon instruction.

We believe we offer exceptional value and one of the most competitive fee rates in the UK for a Chartered Town Planning practise; in addition our written representation appeal service will not be beaten with prices starting at just £250.

Our services vary dramatically, however no job, or client, is too small and everyone is given the same level of service.

Our full terms of business are available upon request, as is our Professional Indemnity Insurance Certificate.

Why use a Planning Consultancy?

The RTPI state you should choose a Chartered Town Planning Consultancy for your planning application over other professionals because:

  • They have knowledge of all the latest Council policies on Development.
  • They are able to advise on the best way of approaching a potential development site.
  • They can maximize the value of your land or buildings.
  • They can co-ordinate a development team to package the best possible approach to a planning application or appeal.
  • They can advise on your chances of success in any future development or on an appeal.

Planning Consultants deal with all aspects of planning, not just applications, such as:

  • Enforcement Notices
  • Listed Building Matters
  • Planning Contravention Notices
  • Planning Appeals
  • Certificate of Lawful use
  • Highway Issues
